Novel: The Midnight Guardians

Setting: The novel is set in World-War-II London and its neighbouring areas.

Favourite Character: Col is a highly imaginative and courageous boy. He travelled alone to a small village called Darkwells End on train. He is a World War II evacuee and had to live with his aunt. But he was not scared of roaming alone and making up imaginary friends when he feels lonely. But his life changes when his imaginary friends come to life. Initially he freaks out and also does not believe them. Later he comes in terms with their reality.

Favourite Part: When Leonard, a boogie with six arms, comes to save Mr. Noakes and Col.

Crisis: Cole, with his Guardians, has to save his sister Rose who was stuck in war-torn London. They also have to fight Midwinter King who wants to kill the Guardians and enhance his power, so that he could bring eternal darkness over the world.
