Novel: Scarlet and Ivy: The Lost Twin

Plot: The book is about twin sisters named Scarlet and Ivy. One day, Ivy received a letter from Rookwood school, where her twin, Scarlet, was studying. In the letter the headmistress requested the twins’ grandma to send Ivy to the school. Ivy needed to replace Scarlet, as she had died in mysterious circumstances.

When Ivy reached that school, she had to pretend to be Scarlet. She came across several mysterious things. She tried to follow clues to solve her sister’s death mystery. While searching, one day, she found Scarlet’s diary. In the diary, it was revealed that Scarlet had already known that Ivy would replace her. But, some pages in the diary were missing. Ivy needed to find those pages and solve the mystery.

My Favourite Character: Ivy is very calm and intelligent and she finally cracks her sister’s mystery despite facing several troubles with teachers and school management.

My Favourite Scene was Ivy reading Scarlet’s diary and finding the torn pages at midnight.

Opinion: Overall, the book is very interesting. It can be easily understood. I’m also planning to read the second part in this series.
