Dasara is fast approaching, so Priyanka goes to Geeta’s boutique.

Priyanka:       Hi, Geeta!

Geeta:            Hi, Priyanka! Nice to see you again.

Priyanka:       Dasara is fast approaching so I need a dress stitched.

Geeta:            It’ll take at least five days.

Priyanka:       Okay, how much will it cost?

Geeta:            5,000 rupees.

Priyanka:       5,000 is too much. Can you please stitch the dress for 4,000?

Geeta:            4,500 is the final price.

Priyanka:       Great, but I need it in three days. I need to wear for the big festival.

Geeta:            Okay. Which festival is it?

Priyanka:       It’s Dasara.

Geeta:            What’s it about?

Priyanka:       Dasara is the day when Mahishasura was killed by Durga Devi.

Geeta:            Is that why Durga Devi is called Mahishasura Mardini?

Priyanka:       Yes, Durga Devi fought for nine days with Mahishasura and she killed him on the ninth day and that day is called Dasara.

Geeta:            Thanks for explaining this story to me. I’ll stitch your dress in three days.

Priyanka:       Oh, thank you so much!
