Novel: Letter to the King by Tonke Dragt

I am reading a novel, Letter to the King. Tiuri was a boy of 16 who wanted to become a knight. He was a kind hearted person. He got a chance to stay a vigil which would make him a knight. But unexpectedly he had to break the rule (of not interacting with anyone) to help an old man. The old man handed Tiuri a letter and asked for help. Tiuri was an adventurous person and he was trained exactly for these adventures.

Over the next few chapters, Tiuri had to deliver this letter to the king of the neighbouring kingdom in order to stop a war. He had to face many problems during the journey. He escaped from the terrifying Red Riders cleverly. Being an experienced horse rider and a sword fighter, he navigated through challenges of rough terrain and forest very well.
