DIARY ENTRY

I had a very good time during summer holidays. We had house shifting and Gruhapravesam, which was fun. But on some occasions, it was boring, especially when I had to sit for puja for 3-4 hours. Luckily there was entertainment later with tambola and cricket. The whole house shifting process was a little boring, especially with my brother constantly irritating me. A lot of decisions were made by my grandmother. I was also not satisfied with my grandmother’s decisions as they were of 1980s style.

Later we went to Hyderabad. I visited Birla Mandir Science Museum. The science expo was marvellous. I wanted to take photo of each and every corner of the museum, but photography was not allowed. My dream came true of seeing the dinosaur skeleton, and luckily my mother secretly took a snap of it. It was a thrilling experience with guards always around us. I also had been to the laser show. It was the most horrible thing in the city. The laser show was so irritating that you will immediately leave the venue.

We also visited the furniture store called IKEA. We wanted to buy each and every light in the showroom, but it was not possible. Though I was tired of walking around, the whole experience was stimulating. IKEA was designed in a very Swedish style, and houses a drinking fountain. We were also glad to find a store that could replace Google Pixel XL and 4 XL batteries.

So, this is about my summer vacation.
