BOOK REFLECTION

Novel: The Rise of Midnight King by Olivier LaFont

The novel is very interesting. It is about the adventures of six children of different mindsets and contrasting personalities. The characters are so enthralling that I read the novel without a break and with a lot of curiosity.

Each child has a superpower: Miracle Cure, Catalyse, Bond and so on. Another interesting character is the antagonist, Mr. Mer, who is a magician.

The magical elements make the story more enthralling with lots of twists and turns. The best part of the novel is when the children fight with Mr. Mer aka the Midnight King.

The way they fought together, the way they held together and withstood the troubles was really amazing.
