The Crossword School celebrated the Constitution Day of India on Tuesday with great enthusiasm. Many eminent nation-builders, such as Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajendra Prasad, and Dr. B.R Ambedkar, played a crucial role in the making of the Indian Constitution. The making of the Indian Constitution was a meticulous process that took 2 years, 11 months, and 18 days. The Indian Constitution was adopted on 26 November, 1949, and came into effect on 26 January 1950.

The high school students had presented the fundamental aspects of the Indian Constitution in a lucid and engaging manner. They also expounded on the need for the constitution, its making and guiding values. Using charts, they explained the fundamental rights and duties, and essential articles.

Lakshmi Kumari mam, the social teacher, eloquently explained about the importance of the Constitution for a country. Principal mam explained about how a citizen should live as well as obeying laws and rules. Principal mam opined that there would be no need for a constitution if a citizen is responsible enough.

The Indian Constitution is a result of the efforts of many great minds. It has various sets of rules and laws, safeguarding the rights of citizens and ensuring a just and equitable society. The Indian Constitution is a living document, which has room for changes as per the needs of the new generations. So let us cherish the great efforts of the great leaders.
