SHORT STORY

I was standing in front of the cave’s entrance. Around the cave there were 7 different signs warning people to keep out. Stay away! I wondered what could be in there. Are you crazy? I had a flashlight so I decided to go inside. Beware! I dropped stones along the way as I walked. Danger! Inside there was nothing. After I went a little further, I could see some bones of animals and different creatures. I warned you! I went forward and forward. I saw something shining in gold colour. I went to see what it was. I wouldn’t go in there! It was a golden treasure box filled with gold. I was so surprised and I kept dreaming of it; it would make me the richest and the wealthiest person. But quickly I brushed aside those thoughts and decided to leave.

While coming out, I followed the trail of stones. I came outside and understood why they kept those signs put up. Those signs were to prevent others from finding out the treasure. I informed my school about the treasure. The school could use the gold to improve facilities and help everyone, not just me.
