SHORT STORY

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Drake. His father was a farmer and his mother a housewife. He helped his father by taking out onions from his father’s farm. One day a soldier came on a horse to their house, from a nearby kingdom, to take away Drake from his family.

His mother asked soldier “where are you taking my kid?”

He replied “I’m taking your kid to King Ronald.”

The soldier took Drake to a city and then asked the kid to go in a way which was very dark. Drake went in that way and saw a dragon in a cave in front of him. He also saw a girl named Rory. Her dragon’s name was Vulcan. Drake met a wizard. His name was Griffith.

Griffith took Drake to a box which had carvings of dragons. Griffith opened the box and Drake saw a stone which was of the size of his head. Griffith gave a part of the stone to Drake. Griffith told him that he would also get a dragon.

Drake met other dragon master friends. They are Boo and Anna. Boo’s dragon name was Shield and Anna’s dragon’s name was Capri. Griffith showed Drake his dragon and told him to name it. He named it Worm. They showed all dragon powers to Drake. Vulcan’s power was flying and spitting out fire. Sharuk’s was floating in air and Capri’s was flying and spitting out rainbow but no one knew the power of Worm. Drake’s roommate was Boo.

That night, Anna and Rory came to Drake’s room. They asked Drake and Boo to come out with their dragons. They went into the cave. They were trapped. Worm glowed and the cave broke into pieces. Then they understood the power of Worm. They all lived together happily with their dragons from then on.
