September 2022

On Sunday, September 25th, we went on a trip to Nallamala forests. On September 24th, I started packing my bag. I finished packing the next day. I went to school at 5:30 AM, but no one else was there. I felt bored because no one came to school on time. Finally, our classmate Nischal arrived. Then everyone started to come to school. We went to Dasamsh’s house and told him to come. He came, and then the three of us went to school. We left at 7:30 AM. I thought we would dance in the bus, but no one did. We reached the Manavanam camp at 12:30 PM. First, Chandrashekhar sir taught us how to pitch tents. Then we went and pitched our tents and settled down. After settling down, sir called us for lunch. We had sambar, brinjal curry, and papad. After eating, we took some rest. After lunch, sir called us and divided us into groups. He gave us a task: to make our own tents using forest items and without any tools. After completing our tents, we went for a trail walk. We thought about climbing the nearby mountain, but they said there was no way to walk up. So we came back. After coming back, we took some snacks and played for a while. After a while, Chandrashekhar sir told us to get cleaned up in groups. After finishing our baths, sir told us to prepare for the cultural events that were going to happen at the camp. After finishing our baths, each team discussed what to do for the cultural events. Everyone did some skits, but our group did a dumb charades game. However, the cultural event did not go well. So our teachers scolded us. After dinner, we slept. But there was no air, and after a while, it started to rain. The boys who slept outside the shed did not sleep well. That was a really horrible night.

The next morning, sir woke us up at 5:00 AM. He took us to their farm. Their farm is simply superb. After we had some milk, we walked around the fields again. After we ate breakfast, we went for a trek. We saw a waterfall there, and it was amazing.

After coming back from the trek, we took a water therapy from the water of the waterfall. After the therapy, we went to get some snacks. After eating snacks, we went to the cave nearby. Then we came back to the camp, got freshened up, and had lunch. After taking some rest, sir gave us a task: to make any food item with the given ingredients. Our team made Indian pac-man sandwiches. Everyone liked them. After eating some snacks and playing for a while, we got freshened up, had dinner, and played a game at the campfire. Then we went to sleep. I fell asleep in no time.

At 5:00 AM, my brother Vivek woke me up and told me to get ready for trekking. At 6:30 AM, we went for trekking. On the trek, we saw three puppies. They were so cute. The food came there, and we ate our tiffin and came back to the camp. Sir said to take some rest and said to come for planting trees. We planted the trees, got freshened up, and went for lunch. There, we met a new mam. She is an officer in the forest department. She told us some things about the forest. She said that the forest where we were has two tigers and two cubs. My sister said she would interview the mam. So my sister took her number. The mam said that there are sloth bears in the forest. She said that they will come after the girls. After she left, we shared some experiences about our trip. Then we packed our bags and started to come back to school.

In the bus, we enjoyed dancing. Mustaaq sir came to us and made us dance. In the middle of returning, we stopped at a tiffin point and ate parota. Then we resumed our traveling. Srujana mam was dropped at Chuttugunta. At 8:00 PM in the night, we reached the school. We said goodbye to our friends and went to our homes and slept.
