DIARY ENTRY
September 2022
After my teachers explained about the trip, I could not stop thinking about it. I and my friends spent all of our recess and PE time discussing the trip. Day by day, our expectations grew. Finally, on September 25th, we were ready for our journey.
The bus started early in the morning at 6:00 AM. It was our classmate’s birthday, so we started our journey with a birthday song. Later, we stopped at a dhaba and had our tiffin. We watched the movie “Seetaramam” on the bus until we reached Manavanam.
Once we arrived, we were taught how to set up the tents. We then set up our own tents and had lunch. After that, we went for a small hike, collecting many pebbles along the way.
The next day, early in the morning, we went for another hike. Walking on a road with trees and waterfalls on either side made me feel like I was in heaven. As we walked deeper, the sound of the water flowing grew louder in my ears. When we reached the waterfall, I was amazed by its beauty. We stayed there for a while and then returned to our bus to take a break.
We then went to the stream and chilled in the cool water. That was the best experience of my life.
The next entertaining moment was the campfire. Sitting around the campfire with my friends gave me a great feeling. Our campfire was so entertaining, with many songs, dances, tasks, and dialogues.
Tired and hungry, we hurried to have dinner. We had a great meal. I was so tired that I didn’t even remember when I fell asleep.
The next day, we went for a trek. Three puppies followed us to the top of the hill. There was a wonderful view of the fields from the top of the hills. There were also many beautiful pebbles on the hill. We were very interested in writing our names on the pebbles.
Later, we went to a small stream, set between large rocks. After that, we had our tiffin and returned back to Manavanam.
Then, we got ready, packed our luggage, and dismantled the tents. We arranged our bags in the bus and had a small discussion about our journey. We thanked all the staff of Manavanam and started our journey back to Guntur.
The bus journey was so thrilling. There was a huge rain and cool breeze, which made me feel very pleasant. I enjoyed singing many songs and watching others dance. Then, we were back to school again!
Finally, our journey started with a birthday song and ended with a movie song.
