CHARACTERS John           —  Student Ramesh      —  A local boy Prethi          —  Teacher

(John and his friends went trekking with their teacher. When he was lagging behind his team, he went in another way and got lost in forest. So he didn’t know what to do. After an hour, he spotted a little boy.)

Ramesh: Hey! What are you doing in the forest?

John: I got detached from my group. What should I do?

Ramesh: Okay! Don’t worry. I will take you to your group.

John: Thank you! What’s your name?

Ramesh: I am Ramesh. What’s your name?

John: I am John. So, what are you doing here?

Ramesh: I live in this village. I came to see the view from mountains.

John: What? From the top of the mountain! I think our team and teachers will also go to the top of the mountain for a beautiful view.

Ramesh: Okay! Come on with me. I know the way.

(They were climbing mountain.)

Ramesh: Is it easy for you to climb a mountain?

John: No. It’s difficult to climb. Is this the only way to reach the top of the mountain?

Ramesh: No. There are many ways but in this is the quickest route.

(After reaching the top of the mountain, Ramesh found a groups boys huddled.)

Ramesh: Yes! There is your team and teachers.

John: There they are! OK, Ramesh. Thank you.

Ramesh: It’s okay. I will see you another time.

John: Bye! Bye.

Prethi: John, are you okay?

John: Yes mam.

Prethi: where did you go?

John: I will narrate the story later, mam. First I should enjoy the view and my lunch.
