During my summer vacation, I went to my grandma’s village. I was greeted by my two sisters, who came from Hyderabad for the vacation. When we returned to Guntur, we brought them along with us. We played a lot at home.

After some days, my grandpa called my mother and said that my uncle’s marriage was to be held on 24 May. My little brother’s birthday was also on the same day. In the meantime we went to our village for some functions. We also went to Vijayawada for shopping. We brought dresses, footwear, bangles, hair bands, stickers, makeup items, ear rings, necklaces, and chains. On the next day our relatives came to our home and said “Today is kolupulu; you should come to our home.” So, we went to their home and ate lunch and came home.

The next day our parents thought to go to our relatives home and thought to leave us home. We played a lot later. It was soon 9:30 and I went to my bathroom. I bathed and wore my yellow dress. I put on bangles, stickers, earrings, and a necklace. I sported a new hairstyle and put a new hair band. We went to the function hall for the marriage and ate dinner. After the wedding we came home.

On the whole I loved the summer vacation.
